Reminder to complete the RCOT pulse survey

Here at Amarè Health we recognise that climate change is a continuous threat to global health and are committed to promoting sustainable practices within the occupational therapy sector.

Carry on reading to find out how completing a five question survey could help make a difference!

The Royal College of Occupational Therapists is calling on all of its members to take part in this pulse survey to gauge a better understanding of their outlook on climate change.

Findings will be used to shape future RCOT sustainability activities and to help improve support available to members who want to make a difference.

In order to keep up-to-date with best practices, the survey will be conducted annually.

All answers will be anonymised and respondents are unable to change their data once it has been submitted.

RCOT are asking everyone to complete the pulse survey before the deadline which is 5PM, Thursday 24 November 2022.

Pete Vesey, who was appointed as professional advisor for environmental sustainability at RCOT in June, will lead the survey.

He says: “My brief is to work with members and support the occupational therapy community to recognise and integrate environmental sustainability in their everyday work and practice.

“I’m keen to listen to and understand the range of views, experiences, ideas and activity that our members and the wider professional community have right now and to work with them to help shape knowledge, resources and expertise.”
