What are the benefits?

As a CPS member, you can enjoy the following perks…

Specialist support

The CPS has a professional advice team which can offer expert insight into physiotherapy practice, answer any queries and above all, support members in their career. This includes advice on professional practice issues, service design and commissioning, practice standards, values and behaviours, international working and policy in practice.

Patient confidence

Chartered members are widely recognised as representing professional excellence in the physiotherapy industry. The CPS says it strives to “define and support its members’ professional excellence” through supporting development, offering one-to-one advice and promoting the evidence base for physiotherapy. Both your patients and employers will view your CPS membership as a stamp of approval.

All members (excluding GA-graduate affiliate, Q-overseas and C-non-practising) have access to the CSP PLI scheme which offers two types of insurance policy: Medical Malpractice Insurance and Public Liability Insurance. Click here for further information.
